What a great school Beacon Rise Primary is! I had a fantastic afternoon with them and it’s all thanks to Mason Carter who wrote and asked me to come and read to his class.

The children were all keen readers and asked me lots of interesting questions, such as – ‘Which words on the cover of the Japanese version of Wizard Dog, is my name?’

    Answer, I haven’t a clue!

It is always exhausting doing school visits but it doesn’t matter when the school is so responsive and enthusiastic. It’s the first time I’ve been clapped before a talk.

    Thanks Beacon Rise Primary!
